Where to GO! for Thai food

“Nothing haunts us like the things we did not order,” Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats chef and co-owner Paul Itti writes in a friendly disclaimer atop the menu at wildrosethai.com. The wildly popular restaurant on Oregon Avenue in downtown Bend won top honors in the crowded Where to GO! for Thai food category, and it’s difficult to imagine much of anything on the restaurant’s menu languishing unordered.

Wild Rose serves the rural fare typical of Northern Thailand and its biggest city, Chiang Mai. Popular dishes include Grandfather’s Tom Kha, a family recipe soup with coconut milk, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, available with chicken or vegetarian-style. Creative mixing and matching of menu items is welcomed at Wild Rose, where your culinary adventurousness will likely be well-rewarded.
