Keith McVannell was born in Bay City, Michigan, on November 17, 1953, to Isabella and Ralph McVannell. Keith grew up in Bay City, Michigan, graduated from Bay City Central where he enjoyed and participated in one of his many interests: sports. In 1979, Keith, Sue (wife) and Shawn (son) moved to Oregon. Keith’s many interests included hunting, fishing, clamming and crabbing, hiking, and music. He had a deep commitment to his country and to God. Keith passed away at home after an 18 month battle with cancer.

He is survived by Susan McVannell (wife), Shawn and Teresa McVannell (son and daughter-in-law), Brandon McVannell (grandson), Bruce McVannell (brother), Darlene Dunn (sister-in-law), Carol White (sister-in-law), Sharon Nickerson (sister-in-law), Sandra and William French (sister-in-law and brother-in-law), Jerry Nickerson (brother-in-law), Rob Beaudoen (cousin) and other cousins.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the McVannell residence.
