Bend Outdoor Worx, an accelerator program for startup outdoor products companies, is accepting applications for its 2018 group.

The deadline is Dec. 29, and applications are available on the Bend Outdoor Worx website. Three companies will be selected for the year-long mentoring program, Bend Outdoor Worx stated in a press release. In exchange for the mentoring from outdoor-industry founders, Bend Outdoor Worx takes as much as 7 percent equity in participating startup companies, according to the website.

Also known as BOW, the accelerator program began in 2014 and so far has worked with four group. Graduates include local companies Cairn, SnoPlanks, Robert Axle Project and Zealios.
