• Darek Olson, of Steele Associates Architects, has earned his certified assessor certificate through the Oregon Department of Education and is credentialed to prepare long-range facility plans for existing schools, campuses and other types of existing buildings and complexes. He has 22 years of architecture experience and specializes in K-12 school design.
• Kim Bohme, has joined the Family Resource Center team as the development coordinator. With over 15 years of experience specializing in community education, she will develop fundraising and community outreach strategies to increase the nonprofit’s capacity to reach all families.
• John Warinner, has joined Aspect Consulting’s Bend office as associate water resources engineer. Warinner brings 30 years of experience in water supply, water rights and geographic information system projects for irrigators, public agencies and private industry.
• Steve Lelli, of D.A. Davidson and Co., has been promoted to senior vice president, financial adviser, branch manager of its wealth management group.
• The Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training has announced the graduation of its 372nd Basic Police Class. Local graduates include: Trooper Andrew Butler, Trooper Danielle Castellanoz, Trooper Garrett Cook, Trooper Taylor Fox, Trooper Justus Gray, Trooper In-Goo Kwak, Trooper Bryan Neely, Trooper Brandon Short and Trooper Shawn Waldrop, all of the Oregon State Police; Deputy Sheriff Steven Hatcher, of the Crook County Sheriff’s Office; Police Officer Hayley Estopare, of the Bend Police Department and Police Officer Scott Lane, of the Warm Springs Police Department.
• Catherine Hanratty has joined the child and family team at Lutheran Community Services Northwest and will be working part-time as a youth peer support specialist. Catherine previously worked as a caregiver for Mount Bachelor Memory Care and a volunteer for Bend Community Center and Father’s House. She will earn her bachelor’s degree in human development and family services from Oregon State University in December.
• Carissa Bussard has joined Lutheran Community Services Northwest as residential housing coordinator. Carissa holds a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences from OSU. Carissa comes from St. Charles Cancer Center where she worked in patient registration and as a certified nursing assistant.
• Healthy Beginnings, a Central Oregon nonprofit that provides free health screenings and referrals for young children has announced the election of key leadership positions and welcomes two new members to the board of directors: Bridgit McGinn, marketing director at Bluefish Dental and Orthodontics, president; Jennifer Moss-Lewis, vice president of Medicare programs at PacificSource, immediate past president; Arden Dettwyler, assistant vice president at Umpqua Bank, vice president; Norm Rush, director of finance at Made in Nature, treasurer; Mari Enders, clinic manager at Mosaic Medical, secretary; Angela Chisum, co-owner of Celtic Lands LLC and substitute educational assistant for the Bend-La Pine School District, board member; David Burke, assistant superintendent at the High Desert Education Service District, non-voting, ex-officio board member.
