Spoken Moto celebrates one year in Bend

Spoken Moto celebrates its first year of motorcycles, coffee and craft beer in Bend on Saturday with a day-long blowout featuring live music, food vendors, a beer created just for the occasion (Twist & Shout, a coffee golden ale created in collaboration with Wild Ride Brewing and Megaphone Coffee Co.) and more. The festivities start at 10 a.m. with a 100-mile motorcycle ride (the route has yet to be determined, said co-owner Pete West). Music starts at 1 p.m. in the Pine Shed, and many of the performers are no strangers to the venue: Sludge-metal headliners Strange Rover played the venue’s grand opening last year, while local Weezer tribute Weez-It played its debut show there in the last few months. Gringo, Corner Gospel Explosion and Alarm 58 (featuring members of The Call, also playing Volcanic Theatre Pub on Wednesday) round out the bill. If you haven’t checked out any of Spoken Moto’s Thursday night shows in the past year, here’s your chance.
