CLINICS AND CLASSES

June 19-21: Junior golf programs at River’s Edge Golf Course is open to kids ages 6-15. Taught by River’s Edge director of instruction Stuart Allison, groups of no more than eight will focus on the fundamentals of golf, golf etiquette while building knowledge and technique. Golfers ages 6-10 will meet each day from 10 a.m. to noon, and golfers ages 9-15 will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Clubs are provided, if needed. Cost is $119 for the combined six-hour sessions. June 20-27: Jefferson County Junior Golf Program at Desert Peaks Golf Club meets Tuesdays and Thursday. June 27-30: Advanced Junior Golf Players Camp at Broken Top. For golfers age 12-19 who are looking to improve their games. Golfers will be taught by PGA and LPGA Class A instructors with collegiate playing and coaching experience. Cost is $250 and includes lunch, prizes and awards. June 28-July 19: Meadow Lakes Junior Golf clinic will be held each Wednesday for four weeks, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 11 a.m. Cost is $30 per golfer, and advance sign-up and payment are required. June 15-21: The PGA Professional National Championship comes to Sunriver Resort for the fourth time.
