Steakhouse opening — The long-awaited Bos Taurus steakhouse is scheduled to open the third week of April in downtown Bend, according to managing partner Mike Moore. The high-end boutique steakhouse promises to deliver big-city service and quality food, with entrees in the $40 to $60 range. Already on board are executive chef George Morris and general manager Jim Keefer, both recently of Colorado resort communities. Location change — Baldy’s Barbeque closed its Redmond store in the Fred Meyer mall on Sunday, as owners Brian and Paige Dioguardi continue to transform a downtown building into its new home. The new restaurant is scheduled to open this summer at 343 NW Sixth St. Meanwhile, the two Baldy’s outlets in Bend remain busy. baldysbbq.com, 541-385-7427.
