Fishing Odell Lake

Located off state Highway 58 southwest of Bend, Odell Lake offers year-round fishing for kokanee, mackinaw, rainbow trout and whitefish. Rainbow trout range from 12 to 16 inches long. Odell Lake — managed as a trophy mackinaw fishery — covers 3,600 acres, with a maximum depth of 305 feet. All tributaries of Odell Lake are closed to angling.

Directions: From Bend, travel south on U.S. Highway 97 for about 45 miles to the Crescent Cutoff Road in the town of Crescent. Turn right and drive about 11 miles to a right turn on state Highway 58. Follow the highway for about 5 miles to Odell Lake on the left. (About 65 miles from Bend).
