Ace Frehley has gone back to his roots (and before you get too excited, no, he didn’t rejoin KISS). The guitarist, singer, songwriter and Spaceman — the make-upped character he originated in the ’70s — digs deep into his classic rock influences on “Origins, Vol. 1,” a covers set released last year and featuring songs originally written and performed by The Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin and Cream (oh, and a KISS song or three for good measure). Guests such as Lita Ford, Slash and Paul Stanley (OK, maybe a little KISS reunion?) add to the party — and with Ace, it’s always a party. He’s out on the road supporting the record with his solo band from 2014’s comeback album “Space Invader” — guitarist Richie Scarlet, former The Cult bassist Chris Wyse and drummer Scot Coogan — and heads to the Tower Theatre on Monday.

Ace Frehley: 7 p.m. Monday; $59, $70 plus theater preservation fee; Tower Theatre, 835 NW Wall St., Bend; towertheatre.org or 541-317-0700
