Noodling on — Another noodle house, 123 Ramen, has opened in northeast Bend’s Makers District, in the cafe space previously held by Bethlyn’s Global Fusion. Owner Anna Witham encourages diners to design their own ramen bowls with a locally sourced selection of broths, meats, vegetables and different noodles. Dinner series — Currents at the Riverhouse has launched a monthly Northwest Tasting dinner series, featuring a five-course seasonal menu paired with wine, beer or spirits from an area producer. On Feb. 25, Deschutes Brewery will pour; upcoming are Chateau Ste. Michelle, Monkless Brewing, Spring Valley Vineyards and 10 Barrel Brewing.
