Jack Johnson to return to Bend in July

Surfer/folk-rocker/environmentalist Jack Johnson will return to Bend this summer.

The Hawaii-born singer-songwriter, known for his smooth singing and laid-back sound, will perform at Les Schwab Amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. July 20 (doors open at 5 p.m.). Johnson last performed at the venue in 2014.

Tickets cost $65 plus fees and go on sale Feb. 17 at bendconcerts.com. Presale tickets will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Feb. 16 at bendconcerts.com (use password local). An additional presale through Johnson’s fan club (jackjohnsonmusic.com) will be held Feb. 14, as well as a Pandora presale Feb. 15 through Ticketfly.

Each ticket includes a free download of a new song Johnson wrote for an environmental documentary he is working on. People can also donate an optional $3 toward education programs and offsetting carbon emissions from the show. Visit bendconcerts.com for more information.
