Bend hotel gets 
new owner

The Holiday Inn Express on Grandview Drive, Bend, has a new owner.

BHG Bend LLC, part of BHG Hotels, a Wilsonville-based group of 24 hotels in the Northwest and Midwest, purchased the property in September for $9.5 million, according to Deschutes County property records. The same company, which started in La Grande with a Super 8 motel, also owns a Best Western hotel on SW 17th Place, in Redmond.

Doug Frasco, BHG Hotels project manager, declined comment Tuesday about plans for the property. The Holiday Inn franchise was included in the sale, he said.
