A Bend law firm is tacking up an extra stocking for in-need children this holiday season.
Albertazzi Law Firm, whose areas of practice include adoption, family law and bankruptcy, will be collecting items for a Toys for Tots toy drive until Dec. 20.
“We are honored to do our part for Toys for Tots by collecting toys and delivering a message of hope to children in need and showing them they are not forgotten at Christmas,” said Albertazzi in a press release.
Toys for Tots is a program that has been operated by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve since 1948. It collects new, still-packaged toys each holiday season and distribute them as gifts to in-need children.
Albertazzi said he was inspired to take part in the Marine Corps toy drive when he encountered Marine troops carrying a flag while hiking South Sister.
Since its inception, Toys for Tots has distributed more than 512 million toys to more than 237 million in-need children, according to the nonprofit’s website.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at Albertazzi Law Firm. For more information, visit www.albertazzilaw.com.
