Grand opening party — Rockin’ Dave’s Backstage Lounge will celebrate its grand opening Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. with an indoor-outdoor barbecue and ice-cold brews donated by Boneyard Beer. Local bands Popcorn and Mai & Friends will perform, and a doggy kissing booth will entertain canine lovers. Proceeds will benefit Bend’s Community Center and the Bend Spay & Neuter Project. Wild salmon bake — The newly reopened Suttle Lodge & Boathouse will host the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs for a traditional wild-salmon bake at noon Sept. 24. Tribe members will offer music and dance after the meal until 4 p.m. Besides the alder-fired fish, consulting chef Joshua McFadden and his culinary team will serve seasonal side dishes and dessert.
