Redmond, Ridgeview
Sports physical night — Incoming freshmen and juniors planning to participate in sports at Redmond or Ridgeview high schools are required to get a sports physical before competing in athletics at their school. Students whose last names begin with the letters A-G should arrive at Redmond High between 5-6 p.m., Aug. 9, H-P from 6-7 p.m. and Q-Z from 7-7:30 p.m. Cost is $20.
Redmond
Redmond Football Camp — For youth and high school players from Aug. 8-11. Third through eighth grades will meet from 9-11 a.m., and grades nine through 12 will practice from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $35 for each camp. To register, go online to www.redmondpantherfootball.com/youth-camp.html
Sisters
Athletic office open for registration — The Sisters High athletic office will be open for high school athletes to register for the fall season beginning Aug. 8. It will remain open through Aug. 12 and welcomes athletes to register between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
Registration night — From 5:30-7 p.m. Aug. 11, Sisters High will host a high school sports registration night that will be immediately followed by a mandatory players and parents meeting. The meeting is required for all athletes who are expected to participate in fall sports. All students must be fully cleared with paperwork completed and fines and fees paid before the first official OSAA practice date on Aug. 15.
Culver
Culver Pigskin Camp — For football players in fourth through eighth grade, the Culver Pigskin Football Camp will be held at Culver High beginning Aug. 8. Each day of the four-day camp will begin at 6 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. Cost is $25, and registration is Aug. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the football stadium.
Midnight Madness — Culver High will host its first football practice at midnight on Aug. 15, the first official OSAA practice date. The practice will run until 3 a.m. at the football stadium.
Free sports physicals — Athletes who expect to play fall sports for Culver will have an opportunity for a free physical with the Madras Medical Group at 4:30 -7 p.m. Aug. 11.
