Droplr LLC, a Bend tech startup focused on file sharing, announced a new application that makes it easier to share screen shots and other visual media through the San Francisco-based tech company Slack.
The new application, known as Screenbot, allows users to share screen shots, annotations and other types of web-based photos and videos through Slack, a messaging app for teams. Screenbot streamlines a process that previously took several steps, according to Screenbot’s website. Screenbot was built on the back of Droplr’s interface, after the company realized how frequently it uses screen shots and other photos on Slack, according to the news release.
Screenbot’s initial launch will be free through Slack, but an upgrade, which will include a pro subscription, unlimited sharing and other features, will be available for $5 per month, according to the release.
Droplr was founded in Bend in 2009, and provides a web platform that allows companies to share data.
