Sheila June Masten- Scheer unexpectedly passed away in Seattle, Washington, on June 19, 2016, at the age of 48.

Sheila is survived by her daughter, Jessica Castle; her husband, Rob Scheer; and step-son, Boone Scheer. Also, her grandmother, June Masten; her parents, Norman and Barbara Masten; siblings, Loren, David, Ann, Jared, and Priscilla. Sheila also had too many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, and brothers-in-law than can be listed, but were each individually important to her. Sheila is preceded in death by her uncle, Boyd Blakeley.

Sheila was born on January 4, 1968, in Petersburg, Alaska, to Norman and Barbara Masten. The family moved to Redmond, Oregon, where she attended school. In 1991, Sheila had her daughter, Jessica Castle, with Ival (JR) Castle in Camas, Washington. She loved being a mom more than anything else. Rob Scheer from Wayward, Wisconsin, swept her off her feet in a whirlwind and they were married on August 1, 2012; spending her final years enjoying their adventurous life together. Sheila was known for her love of life, giving spirit, and an unforgettable laugh.

A memorial is scheduled for July 9, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., at the Terrebonne Grange Hall on 11th Street. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sheila’s life. Family asks instead of flowers, donate to a charity of choice.
