Kadin leads at Oregon Open

POWELL BUTTE — Tetherow caddie Justin Kadin rode a hot front nine to the lead on Wednesday at the Oregon Open Invitational at Brasada Ranch.

Kadin shot 3 under on the front and coasted from there to shoot 69 and lead the tournament by three shots at 8-under-par 136.

Fellow amateur Kyler Gable, from Avondale Golf and Tennis Club in Hayden Lake, Idaho, was alone in second at 5-under 139.

Professionals Ryan Benzel (Sahalee CC), Brian Thornton (Meridian Valley CC), and David LeBeck (Astoria CC), were tied in third at 4-under 140.

The final round concludes today at Brasada. Spectators are welcome free of charge.
