The owners of the renamed Riverhouse on the Deschutes showed off the changes to the hotel and convention center Wednesday following $10 million in renovations. The remodel featured technological updates to the property’s hotel rooms and convention center. Additionally, the front desk changed locations, to give the hotel a more inviting feel.

The main restaurant, now known as Currents at the Riverhouse, was fully remodeled to create a more open experience for guests. The new patio area highlights the hotel’s location on the Deschutes River.

The hotel, formerly known as The Riverhouse Hotel & Convention Center, was purchased by the Washington-based firm Vesta Hospitality in the spring of 2015. The new management also overhauled the hotel’s staff and hired a new general manager, Todd Cooley, in January.
