Hiking and riding Mount Bachelor

There is still plenty of snow on Mount Bachelor in June to enjoy skiing and snowboarding. The chairlifts are not running anymore, though, so you will have to hike, snowshoe or use climbing skins to make your way to the top. Mount Bachelor’s elevation is 9,065 feet, and the base is around 5,700 feet. Reaching the summit can take about two to three hours. Skiing or boarding down can take maybe 10 to 15 minutes.
