Applications accepted for Central Oregon Youth Conservation Corps

Teenagers looking to do environmental conservation work this summer can apply by May 1 for the Central Oregon Youth Conservation Corps.
The eight-week program from the U.S. Forest Service and Heart of Oregon involves building fences, maintaining trails and cleaning campgrounds, among other work on public lands in the region. Crew members can earn school credit, scholarships and minimum wage.
