Terry Tomalin, 55: The Tampa Bay Times’ larger-than-life outdoors editor and brother of actress Susan Sarandon who traveled Florida and the world to take readers on extraordinary adventures. Died Thursday in St. Petersburg, Florida, after suffering a heart attack.

Jim Ray Hart, 74: Longtime San Francisco Giants third baseman who played 11 seasons for the team. Died Thursday in Acampo, California.
