Sigala — Horgen

Erik Horgen and Sara Sigala, both of Reno, Nevada, plan to marry Aug. 20, 2016, at the King Venue in Gardnerville, Nevada.

The future bride is the daughter of Avelino and Josefina Sigala, of Gardnerville. She is a 2008 graduate of Douglas High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Nevada-Reno, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on hydrologic studies. She works as a civil engineer in the natural resources and health sciences division at Cardno in Zephyr Cove, Nevada.

The future groom is the son of Ray and Joan Horgen, of Bend. He is a 2002 graduate of Bend High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Montana, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology with an emphasis in aquatics. He works as a fish biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Reno.
