Veronica Opazo and Brendan Graves, both of Chico, Calif., plan to marry July 16 in Willits, Calif.

The future bride is the daughter of the late Julio Opazo and Ninive Epstein, of Bend. She is a 1996 graduate of Mountain View High School and a 2010 graduate of Chico State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in physical education and a Master’s degree in kineseology and exercise psychology. She works as a translator and paralegal at the Law Office of Kendal E. Cornell, in Chico.

The future groom is the son of Mark and Kathy Graves, of Willits. He is a 2000 graduate of Willits High School and a 2011 graduate of Chico State University, where he studied civil engineering. He works as a carpenter.
