The Humane Society of Redmond will host “CAT-a-Palooza” June 1-11.

The event will include discounted adoption rates of $20 for adult cats and $35 for kittens, and a coloring contest for children ages 5 through 10. Coloring sheets are due by June 10 and can be picked up and dropped off at the Humane Society of Redmond, 1355 N.E. Hemlock Ave., or the Humane Society thrift store’s warehouse, 1568 S. U.S. Highway 97, Redmond.

The first 10 adoptions will receive a free cat bed.

An open house in the cat playroom of the Humane Society will be held June 11 from noon to 3 p.m. Cupcakes and refreshments will be available.
