Despite reports stating every Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant in Oregon has closed, employees confirmed that the Chipotle location in Bend will stay open until further notice.

The Bend location, which opened its doors Oct. 2 at 222 NE Emerson Ave., next to Walgreens at NE Third Street and Franklin Avenue, has so far not been affected by the outbreak of E. coli that caused the chain to close 43 restaurants in Oregon and Washington. The outbreak has been traced to six restaurants across the Pacific Northwest, and has affected at least 22 people. Officials from Chipotle’s corporate headquarters could not be reached for additional comment.
