Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and brother passed with his loved ones at his side.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 62 years, Eva (Stokes); his two children, Jan and (Al) Keranen and William and (Deborah) Todd; his four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was always involved with his childrens and grandchildrens sports events.
He served in the Navy as radar man during the Korean War in the Pacific and Mediterranean Seas. After the service he was employed by the Albertsons Corporation as a meat department manager in Idaho and Oregon and then assumed the meat manager role at Wagners in Bend in 1972.
His favorite pastime was playing the game of Cribbage with his family. He served as a Boy Scout master and enjoyed boating and fishing.
We are grateful to the doctors at BMC and the staff of St. Charles Hospital and the caring nurses of Pilot Butte Rehab Center.
Remembering his quick wit and sense of humor and devotion to his family will live on through his family and friends for years to come, our lives were blessed to have him in our world and he will be missed greatly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Niswonger- Reynolds funeral Home, Bend.
