Earl and Barbara (Long) Strei, of Bend, will celebrate their 30th anniversary with a trip to Ireland in May.

The couple were married May 9, 1981 at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Camarillo. Calif. Mr. Strei’s son Jeff was the best man and Barbara’s twin sister was her matron of honor. They have three children, Jeff (and Katy), of Rockville, Md., Adam (and Kristi), of Lessburg, Va., and Jane (and Eduardo Lupiani), of Madrid, Spain; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Strei retired in 2002 from Chateau St. Michelle Vineyards and Winery in Woodville, Wash. Mrs. Strei retired in 2002 from Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Wash, where she worked as a registered nurse. Mr. Strei enjoys golfing at Broken Top Club. Mrs. Strei is a member of the Assistance League of Bend and Bend EW chapter of Philanthropy Education Opportunity. The couple volunteers at St. Charles Bend.

They have lived in Central Oregon for seven years.
