Sally Spencer, a junior at Bend High School, was recently selected as the Miss Oregon Senior National Teenager 2011. Prizes include educational and modeling scholarships. She will be appearing at local events around Oregon, such as the Pendleton Round-Up Parade and the Oregon State Fair and she will compete with other state winners July 23 in Miami for the America’s National Teenager title. She is the daughter of Kevin and Linda Spencer, of Bend.

David Creach recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout from Boy Scouts of America. Creach is a member of Troop 18 in Bend and attends Mountain View High School. For his community service project, he built storage carts for the food pantry at Bethlehem Inn. He has been involved in scouting since first grade and has also been active in 4-H. He is the son of Doug and Shelly Creach, of Bend.
