Yoshihiro Tatsumi, 79: Japanese cartoonist whose dark, psychologically astute tales helped establish the genre of adult comics and graphic novels. Died Saturday in Tokyo.
Jenna McMahon, 89: Teamed up with Dick Clair, her partner in a comedy act, to create the long-running sitcom “The Facts of Life.” Died March 2 in Monterey, California.
Jimmy Greenspoon, 67: Keyboardist for rock band Three Dog Night. Died Wednesday of cancer at his home in North Potomac, Maryland.
Willie Barrow, 90: Reverend and front-line civil rights fighter for decades. She was mentor to younger generations of activists. She was also a field organizer for the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., marched on Washington and Selma in the ’60s and more recently focused concern on Chicago’s gun violence and changes to the Voting Rights Act. Died Thursday in Chicago.
Ryan Johanningmeier, 38: Former versatile offensive lineman for the University of Colorado. Died Monday in Lakewood, Colorado.
Isaac Heller, 88: Founded Remco toy company with a cousin, Saul Robbins, in 1949. A former Navy electronics technician, Heller got his start as a toymaker by buying up mountains of military surplus and transforming it into toys that could zoom, soar or otherwise move. Died Saturday. The location was not reported.
