4 tenants commit to health project
Four tenants have committed to leasing space at the Shevlin Health & Wellness Center, on Bend’s west side, according to Fratzke Commercial Real Estate.
Plans call for High Lakes Health Care to anchor the 11-building development, which will total 67,000 square feet, now under construction on NW Shevlin Park Road near NW Crossing Drive. High Lakes has agreed to lease its own 7,600 square-foot building, according to Fratzke.
Central Oregon Eye Care and Step and Spine both agreed to lease individual buildings of 5,100 square feet each. Neither currently has a location in Bend.
“It’s very much a growth area,” said Step and Spine physical therapist Barrett Ford, of Sisters. “It’s a very active area, which is also a wonderful thing.”
A fourth tenant, Mountain View Acupuncture, currently at 2855 NW Crossing Drive, agreed to lease 2,000 square feet in a building it will share, according to the real estate firm.
Fratzke handles the leasing arrangements for the property owner, Taylor Brooks LLC. Principal broker Brian Fratzke said he expects to also sign an orthodontic practice and a pharmacy as tenants.
High Lakes is expected to open its clinic there by January 2015, he said.
