The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon lifted the last of the evacuation warnings resulting from the Two Bulls Fire northwest of Bend.
From Saturday night until Wednesday night the Sheriff’s Office ordered residents of about 50 homes along Skyliners Road to evacuate. Since then an evacuation warning has been up for the area.
The 6,908-acre wildfire started last Saturday and was 70 percent contained today, said Tina O’Donnell, spokeswoman for Oregon Department of Forestry. Fire crews expect to have the fire 100 percent contained Saturday.
A reward for information leading to a conviction for the starting of the Two Bulls Fire was up to more than $40,000 this afternoon, said Sheriff’s Capt. Shane Nelson. The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information to call 541-693-6911.
