March 28, 1934 – April 30, 2013

Jeannette Mary Winkelman, 79, of Sunriver, OR and Surprise, AZ peacefully passed away on April 30, 2013, with her family at her side. She was born March 28, 1934 in Portland, OR to Tony and Lolamae Roskoski.

Jeannette’s beautiful smile and warm laughter of love will be forever missed and always cherished. Jeannette was an amazing hostess and cook with a passion for entertaining; she always had great one-liners to share. She was the leader of the Sunriver Womens Nine Hole Golf Group, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was involved in the Smart Reading Program where she would read to 3rd graders.

Jeannette is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Larry E. Winkelman; two children, Chuck and wife Paula Matthieu of Sunnyvale, CA and Toni Hoffman of Banks, OR; five grandchildren, Wade, Jennifer, Sarah, Christy and Chad; 14 great-grandchildren; and a close group of friends who were their extended family.
