Facebook’s Prineville data center took home two awards at the inaugural Datacenter Dynamics Awards for North America.

The awards recognized the data center’s design and innovation. The company took home awards for “Future Thinking and Design Concepts,” and “Innovation in the Mega-Data Center.”

Facebook first announced its Prineville data center plans in early 2010. One data center is fully operational, and another is under construction.

The award ceremony was held Friday in San Francisco.
