Jackalope Grill (750 N.W. Lava Road, Bend) will host a wine-tasting aimed at women Oct. 21.

The event will feature wines from Reininger Winery, a Walla Walla., Wash., winery that focuses on limited production and fruit from the Walla Walla Valley, as well as Reininger’s newer label Helix, which sources from a larger region. The wines will be paired with small plates by Chef Tim Garling of Jackalope. The cost is $45 and registration is required by Oct. 16. The tasting will run from 4 to 6 p.m., and attendees are asked to arrive 15 minutes early.
