• Springleaf Financial Services has opened an office in Bend at 1120 S.E. Third St., Suite 100. Branch Manager Stephanie Gross is hosting an open house with a cookout from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

• Great Northern Window and Door Co. has changed its name to better represent the services it provides. Previously known as Great Northern Window and open since 2005, the company has also launched a new website designed to be more customer friendly.
