Kenneth Churchill Overholser

Kenneth Overholser went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2014. He was 76.

He served with the US Coast Guard from 1958-1964. He worked in special ops for Shell Oil, and he also worked for the United Telephone Company and the Oregon Department of Forestry.

Kenneth enjoyed photography, camping, and walking. He loved working in the rescue of stray animals.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri; two daughters, Jill Overholser Opoka of Milwaukie, Oregon, Janine Wilson of Damascus, Oregon; a grandson, Joseph Opoka; a granddaughter, Noel Wilson; two step-daughters, Liesa West of Salem, Oregon and Kristin Bridges of Bend, Oregon; three step-granddaughters, Avery Burger, Quinn Burger, and Raeann Barnes; a step-grandson, Derek Barnes; and a stepson, Cartee Bales of India.

No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Ochocos.
