Feb. 1, 1966 – Apr. 23, 2014Kirk McDonald Dennis of Sunriver died April 23 at the age of 48 from brain cancer.Kirk was born February 1, 1966 in San Mateo CA, the son of Dr. Harold Dennis and Jill Miller. He earned a Bachelors degree in Economics at the University of Oregon, where he was a scholar athlete and place kicker from 1985 to 1989. He enjoyed being part of the Oregon football family. Kirk married Michelle Yoder May 16, 2009 in McMinnville, OR. He loved golfing, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends. He was active in the Sunriver community, managing Sunriver Storage, and was an honored recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award for the Sunriver Rotary Club.He leaves behind his wonderful wife, Michelle, and 2-year old daughter, Andrea, both of Sunriver; his mother, Edith Jillian Miller; his father, Dr. Harold Dennis; and his brother, Brett Dennis.
