Colette Barnes and Jeffrey Messerschmidt, both of San Francisco, were married July 26 at Broken Top Club in Bend. A reception followed.

The bride is the daughter of Alice and Greg Barnes, of Bend. She is a 2004 graduate of Summit High School and a 2008 graduate of Santa Clara University where she studied finance and economics. She works as the vice president of private equity and M&A services at Marsh & McLennan Companies in San Francisco.

The groom is the son of Amy and Jerry Messerschmidt, of San Jose, California. He is a 2004 graduate of Archbishop Mitty High School and a 2009 graduate of California Polytechnic State University where he studied business. He works as a certified public accountant at Navolio & Tallman LLP in San Francisco.

The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

They will settle in Walnut Creek, California.
