Roughriders fall on road — The Corvallis Brewers topped the Bend Rugby Club 36-17 on Saturday at Willamette Park in Corvallis. Keenon Luis scored two tries for the Roughriders and Rich Miller scored one for Bend, which fell to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in league play. The Roughriders are back on the road this Saturday when they play the Portland Rugby Club.

MBSEF winter programs open — Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation has announced that its winter alpine, nordic, freeride and snowboard programs are now open for registration. Dryland training programs run through the first week of November. Race training programs for youth and masters will follow. For more information, go to www.mbsef.org.
