The City of Bend is seeking input from the community to help with its redesign of Northwest Galveston Avenue.

The city has been working with a community task force and technical advisory committee to develop a concept design for the street. All residents are invited to take a survey to let the city know their thoughts about how to improve safety, reduce congestion, and improve parking in the area.

The survey can be found at www.bendoregon.gov/galveston through Nov. 7.

The city will also gather input from several community organizations about the project, including the Bend Economic Development Advisory Board, the City of Bend Accessibility Advisory Committee, and the Old Bend Neighborhood Association Board, among others.
