USA Cycling announced on Wednesday that Bend is one of four finalists to host the 2017 and 2018 Cyclocross National Championships.

Bend, which held the 2010 and 2011 national championships; Reno, Nevada; Hartford, Connecticut; and Louisville, Kentucky; are the four finalist for the 2017 and 2018 events. USA Cycling expects to conduct site visits next month and will announce a winner before the 2015 Cyclocross National Championships in Austin, Texas, which start Jan. 7.
