Paul A. Taylor Sr., of Madras, died Dec. 4 of natural causes. He was 94.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Bel-Air Colonial Chapel in Madras. A graveside service will follow at Mount Jefferson Memorial Park.

Mr. Taylor was born Jan. 1, 1913, in Madras, the son of Thomas and Maude (Durm) Taylor. He married Evelyn Rowan on Nov. 17, 1939.

Mr. Taylor was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing and farming.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Paul Jr., of Spokane, Wash., and Ken, of Madras; a daughter, Virginia Wilson, of Portland; a sister, Audrey Paxton, of Portland; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
