Death vs. inconvenience

Regarding your April 4 article “Accident leaves Alfalfa man dead” — you need to separate death from inconvenience! Dave lost his life!

The family probably won’t, nor should they, apologize because people in Sisters had difficulty finding hot coffee, Ray’s Grocery lost ice cream and possibly deli meat and 24 CEC guys worked on repairing the power outage. The ice cream can be replaced; a person’s life can’t!

Have some empathy — separate articles would be a little more appropriate!
