Alaska Airlines will be adding two daily flights out of Redmond Airport, one to Portland and the other to Seattle, the airport announced today.

The airline has scheduled a new morning flight to Seattle, taking off from Redmond at 9:30 a.m., according to a Redmond Airport news release. The additional flight will give Alaska four daily flights from Redmond to Seattle, according to the airline’s schedule. Travel time to Seattle is a little more than 1 hour.

For travel to Portland, Alaska has scheduled a new night flight, leaving Redmond Airport at 8:05 p.m. It will bring to five the number of daily flights from Redmond to Portland. Travel to Portland takes about 40 minutes.

The new flights begin June 7, according to the news release, and Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Airlines, operates all flights.
