Madras’ Mariah Stacona was selected to the Class 4A all-state first team announced Monday.
Stacona led the White Buffaloes to a second-place finish in the Tri-Valley Conference and a spot in the state playoffs. She is a two-time TVC player of the year and a two-time 4A all-state second-team selection.
Sutherlin, which won its second straight state title, swept the player of the year and coach of the year awards — senior Miranda Mendenhall and coach Josh Grotting claimed those awards for a second consecutive season.
In 5A, Summit junior Sarah Heinly and sophomore Sarah Reeves were named to the second team.
La Salle sophomore Aleah Goodman was named the 5A player of the year after leading the Falcons to the state championship, and La Salle’s Kelli Wedin was voted the coach of the year.
All-state teams are voted on by coaches throughout the state and compiled by The Oregonian’s prep sports staff.
