The next installment in Cascades Theatrical Company’s Black Box season, “Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead,” opens Thursday at the Bend community theater, located at 148 NW Greenwood Ave.

While never named as such in the script of this Bert V. Royal play, beloved children’s characters from a certain long-running comic strip forge a path to adulthood, with all the trials and tribulations that normally attend the teen years.

Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15, $12 students and seniors. The show runs through April 3; look for more coverage in next week’s issue.
