Valerae Ann (Ericson) Davis of Redmond, Oregon, born on September 15, 1935, in Jamestown, New York, passed away at age 82 on March 25, 2018, in Bend, Oregon.

Valerae was preceded in death by her parents, Rolly and Elsie Ericson; and sister, Carol Wilson. She is survived by her sons, Chip (Diana) Davis and Kirk Davis; daughter, Kristi (Jonathan) Ziehl; brother, Dudley (Joanie) Ericson; and grandson, Erik Ziehl.

A native of Jamestown, New York, Valerae graduated Jamestown High School in 1953. She lived over 55 years in Jamestown, where she raised her children and had a career as an offset printer before moving to Oregon for the next three decades to enjoy her sons and the beautiful country found east of the Cascade Mountains.

She had a passion for photography, horses, outdoors, and collecting. She loved exploring the nearby meadows of Oregon and cataloging, through photographs, the countless varieties of flowers she found on her rambles.
