Who: Holly Fischer’s photographs are on display at Nature Inspired, a pop-up gallery, through August.

Influenced by nature, the native Texan, who now calls Bend home, has a story behind every photograph she takes, which she hopes speaks to the viewer’s heart. Fischer’s love of hiking and the outdoors has led her to capture the landscapes of Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks and Nepal, where she volunteered with the Love Does organization. Half of the proceeds from her series, “Nepal: No Words: A Photographic Journey,” will be donated to support the charity’s school and orphanage in Kathmandu. Locally she also partnered with Steve Giardini to offer photography classes, workshops and tours around Central Oregon. Her work has won recognition from the National Park Service and her photo, “Eric’s Tree,” was recently featured online by National Geographic.

Nature Inspired is at 450 SW Powerhouse Drive, Suite 408, in the Old Mill District
