Serving Up Holiday Fun

ith fall already here and winter close behind, holiday planning for Thanksgiving and end-of-year celebrations is well underway at seven nutrition sites affiliated with the Council on Aging of Central Oregon. All tri-county adults aged sixty and over, their spouses, family members, and caregivers are invited to participate in these festivities, where tasty meals and fun social activities are offered up in a spirit of gratitude and togetherness.

Thanksgiving Events

Two sites will be serving special meals on the day before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 21.

A filling and warming start to the day can be had at the Back Door Café in downtown Bend.

Later in the day, La Pine residents and loved ones can sit down to a home-cooked holiday lunch with all the trimmings. Yum!
